Radius AAA Add-on – Main Features

Thanks to the integration of Dynasoft TeleFactura with two different Radius / AAA server platforms, we are able to provide the ideal ISP Radius billing software system. Our Radius AAA add-on extensively broadens the functionality offered by Radius Manager and TekRadius as it adds the ability to bill and bundle any voice and recurrent service with the plans already handled by these server platforms. It also is able to control and manage user access to resources based on financial data such as credit limits defined or voice and data plan allowances thereby increasing your business’s financial and fraud control.

Dynasoft has established a strategic alliance with TekRadius to offer the full capability of a Radius and AAA server and integrate this with our TeleFactura software. The Radius AAA add-on includes a licence for TekRadius SP. TekRadius is a Windows-based application. This powerful combination adds the following functionality to our standard billing platform:

Authentication, Authorisation and Accounting management

Compliant with RFC 2865, RFC 2868 and RFC 2866

Logs system messages, errors and session information to a log file

Configurable multi-session concurrency control

Uses Authentication method as a RADIUS check item

RADIUS Dictionary can be edited through TRManager GUI

Session handling

Collection of all accounting information and usage statistics

Exporting of all accounting information into the billing part or other systems

Management of user accounts for all services

Detailed real-time traffic collection made available to the billing of users

Authentication and Accounting ports are user selectable

TekRADIUS can be run in Authentication only or Authorization only mode

Generate MS-MPPE Keys

You can Authenticate users against Windows Domain or Active Directory

Disconnect users with Packet of Disconnect (Pod) or user defined kill command

Supports PAP, CHAP, EAP-MD5, MS-CHAP v1, EAP-MS-CHAP v2, PEAP, PEAPv0-EAP-MS-CHAP

Many other features offered

TekRadius works with many commercial products such as Mikrotik routers and access points and is able to handle up to 200 connection attempts a second. More connections can be obtained by creating a cluster of servers. Click here for a picture of how TekRadius integrates with your network. TeleFactura would sit alongside TekRadius (or Radius Manager).

TekRadius also make other utilities such as TekCERT, TekIVR and TekSIP. TekSIP is SIP Registrar and SIP Proxy for Windows. Think of it as being a PBX for pure IP networks.

Radius Manager is an alternative Radius solution to TekRadius which has also been integrated with TeleFactura.

Additional functionality offered by TeleFactura

Replication of all user data between TeleFactura and Radius. This includes the users’ phone numbers, contact details and data accounts details (credit limits, excess usage, upload and download limits,…)

Manage Radius users directly from TeleFactura: add, modify or delete users and disable or enable accounts manually

Manage access control by users: block users if they have reached their credit limit or gone over the allowance of their voice or data plans

All of Radius’s data and voice call data records (CDRs or UDRs) can be imported and billed by TeleFactura
