New Major Update of Dynasoft TeleFactura

We've released a new update of our popular Telecoms billing, reconciliation and rating software, Dynasoft TeleFactura.

The new version of Dynasoft TeleFactura represents over 1050 hours of development and testing. The new features that have been worked on and that are included with this new update are as follows (since v6.00):

* Contacts screen has a new column that shows contacts' archived status
* New configuration option (point 'ap' under option '8.A') enabling the user to set a cut off point after which a user whose last deactivation date is older than 3 months will be archived automatically
* New option in the voice plans, global and customers various items screens where it is possible to determine if the first period in an item or plan's billing cycle will be given free to the user.
* New commission option for referral of customers: See chapter 3.4.2.1, page 23, point 4.A of the manual.
* Invoice templates' summary part is now right aligned by default.
* Moving from one version of TeleFactura to another or adding or removing add-ons does not require creating a new key anymore or downloading another version of the programme. This is now simply by clicking a button inside the programme.
* Customer groups are now associated with standard voice price lists. Call types price lists have been removed. The rules for using price lists associated with customer groups stays the same as outlined in the manual (chapter 3.3.5).
* The reset tasks that were in the Tasks menu have been moved to the System menu on the UI.
* Services menu has been renamed Home menu on the UI.
* Price lists, price lists details, invoices and CDR data screen have been moved to their own Data menu on the UI.
* Database tables CustomerTypes, SupplierTypes and Representatives have been deleted and data for these has been moved to table CustomersData.
* New dashboard added. It includes the stats and graphs that existed before in the Reports screen and includes 15 new charts and graphs.
* CRM settings screen has been removed as the Web CRM will make it possible to set the links between price lists and customers.
* Improved UI in the contacts', configuration and billing screens.
* Support for Sage 50 Accounts 2017 Canadian Edition.
* Improved TeleFactura Web Access.
* Multi-lingual capability and localization of the TeleFactura Web Access updated.
* Error codes are now used when billing customers. Please refer to the descrptions of the codes in the manual's chapter 3.12, point H.
* Ability to modify all CDR formats without having to remap the fields from the suppliers' accounts. All the field headers that were selected when the CDR format was last modified or added now show when going through the import wizard. This should make modifying CDR formats much easier.
* Ability to show various items when there is no voice, data or services under manual mode. This was not possible before as the manual mode required voice, data or service items to be present.
* Support for Global Payments/Real Ex in TeleFactura Web Access
* The automatic retrieval of CDR files now supports SFTP. However, the FTP client currently does not.
* Support for inbound and outbound calls has been improved. A new option 'u' has been added to the import page for voice cdr formats under the supplier accounts. CDRs can be of three types when it comes to supporting inbound and outbound legs of calls:
- Calls have no inbound and outbound parts: leave option 'u' unticked and in the import wizard map fields number calling and number called only.
- Inbound and outbound legs appear on the same CDR line. If this is the case, in the import wizard, map fields number calling, outbound number called and inbound number called.
- Inbound and outbound legs appear on different CDR lines and a flag identifies which is which. If this is the case, in the import wizard, map fields number calling, number called and the flag field 'OUTBOUNDINBOUNDFLAGFIELD'. You will also have to identifiy the flags that differentiate between inbound and outbound under option 'u'.
* Various improvements and bug fixes.
* All manuals, guides and documentation have been updated.
