Hello from Portugal,
first of all i want to thank you all the developers !
Great Job !
This post is about a problem running surfshop on windows vista, a winsock error 11004 , or a mswinsck.ocx error.
I have installed for my cyber cafe 3 workstations , 2 of them running vista the other running xp, the server running on a laptop (toshiba) with vista on it.
The workstation running xp thats surfshop works fine, but not on vista , i have disable UAC and DEP on both vista workstation and server and surfshop
still not working, i have to tell that im using a wireless lan.
Please help me solving this problem, i cant understand what im doing wrong !
Thanks

Hi
Make sure you run the sw under a power user or admin account. Can you send us a screenshot of the error? Thanks.
Regards,
Mike.

Hi
By mask do you mean screensaver? You can ignore this as it merely indicates ssfree can't find a server station in order to connect. Check the manual for help on this issue in the troubleshooting section.

Mike

Hi Mike,
i have read the troubleshouting before bodering you and the thing is i can't overcome the problem.
The troubleshouting section advises to disble UAC , DEP, and to open ports 1001,1002,1003 things i've done already.
Its strange that i have 3 WS one of them running XP works fine, the problem occurs the other 2 running Vista.
If you have any sugestion that might help ill be gratefull.
My regards.

Hi
At this stage we normally say that we only give support to users of SSPro. Price is only £59 (US$87-€69) for 10 PCs and £3 (US$4.40-€3.50) for additional PCs. You may purchase the programme from http://www.dynasoft.net/surfshop/buynow.html

Mike

Hello Mike,
i understand that, i really do, although this is a surfshop free forum so it might be any other dynasoft cybercafe surfshop user that might know how to solve this problem and become very usefull not only for me but also for anyone who have the same problem.
Thanks for you Mike and in advance for a user who may be helpfull.
Para os utilizadores que falam portugues se alguem tiver tido este problema e saiba como o resolver ficava-vos grato.
My regards.
Obrigado.
